Your reason for volunteering should begin where your passions lie – from the heart is a good place to start. Allow your actions to be led from a place of passionate intention. That way all the hard work will be worth it, you will be more committed to the cause and as a result, your impact will be that much bigger.
To be a volunteer requires commitment, dedication, integrity, passion, drive, compassion and selflessness.
We know that there are very little services and resources for men and that men, in general have had a hard time in how society sees them or in how they see themselves due to their upbringing. Most have been told “Boys don’t cry”, “Pull yourself together”, “ Man up” or similar.
Ways You Can Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers to help in our work and have a wide variety of interesting opportunities available – all we look for is commitment and compassion
Counsellors are an integral part of the team. We have opportunities for both fully qualified counsellors and students who are looking for opportunities to complete their hours. Whatever your situation, this is a great opportunity to deliver life changing help to people in need
You will be a valuable member of our team. You will support and engage our service users, you will assist their recovery, improving their self-esteem and their self-development. The Keyworker system is the backbone of our organisation.
We are very keen on healing the body as well as the mind so if you think you may have a service that you believe could help towards the recovery of someone’s mental health we would be very interested in hearing from you
Teachers and Workshop Instructors
Got a skill, interest or hobby? Would you be interesting in sharing it with others? We would love to hear from you and explain how you can help
If you want to give a couple of hours a week to volunteer your skills to aid a person to recover we would love to hear from you.
