Counsellors are an integral part of the team at HiS providing support to our clients.
The role
We have opportunities for both fully qualified counsellors and students who are looking for opportunities to complete their hours. Whatever your situation this is a great opportunity to deliver life changing help to people in need.
About You
Qualified Counsellors
- We will need a copy of your insurance
- We would also like to have a meeting with you so we can understand your style and preferred area of therapy.
You need to be BHCP registered
Student Counsellors Wishing to complete Their Hours
- We will need a short video of your counselling methods.
- BHCP registered.
- A meeting with us to get to know your personality.
- Have your own insurance.
My journey with HiS started through needing specific and practical experience that supported my current studies. The opportunity to make a positive difference to men’s mental health resonated with my own experience of seeing the difficulties faced by men, bound by a stereotypical ideology of what is expected of them, having no perceived avenue through which to share their story, struggles or emotion. The aim, support, ethos and dedication of the HiS team to make a genuine difference to people’s lives has been infectious and I consider myself very fortunate to be given the opportunity to be part of it.
